Tree Trimming in Oronoco

Oronoco is a small township and village just north of Rochester on US-52, situated along the Zumbro River. It's known for its large antique flea market and has attracted residential development because of its proximity to Rochester and its rural character. Properties here tend to be larger lots with significant natural vegetation along the Zumbro corridor. Tree work here often involves wooded lot clearing as much as residential trimming.

Rochester gets real winters. Ice storms hit the Southeast Heights and Folwell neighborhoods hard, and silver maple branches — which snap faster than most people expect — end up on roofs, fences, and power lines. A lot of the trees in this area were planted in the 1960s and 1970s when those neighborhoods were built, which means they're big now and overdue for attention. Ignoring overgrown or cracked limbs doesn't save money. It usually means a bigger cleanup bill later, or a call to your insurance company.

We look at the whole tree before we touch it — where the weight is sitting, which limbs are dead or cracked, and what's underneath. Cutting the wrong branch in the wrong order can split a trunk or drop a limb somewhere you didn't plan, so we work top-down with the right equipment for the size of the job.
